This book has literally shifted the consciousness that resides within my heart!! I have been on a wonderful yet enduring journey of self healing for about 3 years now and reading this book has elevated my human experience. I had put off reading it at times, but the universe allowed me to read the right chapters at the right times when I felt ready! This composition of art brings forth a new awareness of the human experience within the condition of the heart in every moment. It has just a variety of topics and experiences that we all share in some form or another. Gary Zukav has become a savior in my healing process. I wasn't ready for this book the first couple times I looked at it. It didn't "speak" to me. It seemed ponderous. I know now that I just wasn't ready to absorb its teachings. These things take time. I'm now re-reading it for the second time this year - and I'm awed by its profundity. I'm finally ready to begin getting in touch with the feelings that cause me to procrastinate and zone out on mindless tv. This book deals with very subtle and deep stuff - not your everyday self-help book. If you've already done the hard work of becoming a genuinely happy, open, and self-aware person, but still sense there's more to work on (LOL - there always is) - a couple small rough edges to smooth over - this is the book for you.
